Income Qualifications
Elevated Affordable Living
At Promontory Place, affordable doesn’t mean ordinary. Promontory Place participates in the Housing Tax Credit affordable housing program. We provide low-income apartment homes for households earning 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI). That makes Promontory Place an attainable option for a broad range of households, while still delivering the kind of modern design and amenity-rich lifestyle rarely seen in affordable housing.
Affordable Housing Requirements
- Eligibility is based on total gross annual household income from all sources
- Households made up entirely of full-time students are not eligible unless one member is not full-time
- Documentation is required for all household members (income, assets, household size, student status)
- Housing vouchers or rental assistance may be accepted
Do I Qualify?
Alta Vue follows income limits set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the federal agency that helps guide housing programs nationwide. These limits ensure our apartment homes remain accessible to households that qualify under the program. Rent at Alta Vue is based on HUD’s published limits for Salt Lake City, not on each household’s individual income.
